I'm trying out Mymotion to see if it fits my needs.
By the description, I think it will.
One major obstacle is the orientation of the program at "portrait" on my "landscap" 480x272 screen.
I rotated my screen with a utility and still didn't find the setting mentioned in the instructions.
Where did I miss it?

The program does not assume portrate or landscape, it uses the dimensions as supplied by the system. It also supports changing orientation while active. There is no user setting for this, it is automatic.
If it is not working then the new dimensions are not being passed to the OS correctly, maybe due to whatever utility you are using. Changing orientation should work, I have tested it on several different devices.
