as i said in the subject.

Basically, im using google earth to track my tytn2 in almost realtime when mymotion is running. Everything is working exactly as it should except when its being monitored on google earth. When it auto refreshes the KMZ file it returns to the default viewing distance and angle. I want to be able to set it to 800m distance with 0. viewing angle. Can this be adjusted from within Mymotion?
Thanks

At the moment the value written from Mymotion is hardcoded.
Are you using a kml to reference the kmz? Did you try changing the values in the the kml reference?
I'm not sure if that would overide the values in the network linked file, but it would be worth experimenting what can be done from within Google Earth.
Other than that I'll have to think of a way of allowing the user to provide new defaults...or maybe not provide them at all and so allow the to be set manually in the referring kml.

Yeah, ive tried changing everything possible from within google earth including changing the linked KML file, it just defaults to whatever the uploaded KMZ file is set to. Maybe by removing the information from the KMZ, it will default to the KML's defaults. Ive changed the details in the KMZ and it works but as soon as it uploads the new one it overwrites the old data with the 45. and 10000 setting! An option to change these settings within mymotion would be brilliant but i should imagine it a difficult process if its hard coded so i guess using the KML to set this would be more beneficial.

I built a version without the LookAt parameter in the Uploaded "location" KMZ. I think this should do what you want.
I haven't tested it. Could you do that for me?
Get it from here: http://users.bigpond.net.au/ian_pendlebury/setup112.exe

It is the very latest (v1.12), and includes all fixes so far plus this new one.

That seems to be loads better in google earth for viewing and tracking. I just need to play with the defaults on the kml or google earth and all should be perfect.

Thanks a bunch. Donation will be winging its way to you when i get paid. :D
