wm5, program working just fine, recording tracks and so. But when I press "upload now" or set auto-upload nothing happens. GPRS connections, set by default. Initiating connection with browser doesn't help either.

Any suggestions please?

Check you have MyMotion 1.02, earlier versions had a bug with this.
Check your ftp address, username and password supplied on the Upload Preferences page (ie on a PC, verify they work and you can access the site and have space to upload files).
If Upload is enabled (via the Ftp Auto Upload setting) you will see a report on the text Summary screen, right at the bottom it gives an Upload summary either OK with the number of bytes, or "failed" - do you see this?
Look for a file on your ftp site called LL.device.* where device is the ID of your device.
If GPRS is not already connected, does Upload connect it for you (it should - and that would show it was trying to connect)?
Any other symptoms - does it freeze or anything?

mm.. its a latest version just downloaded from your site 1.02 as said in help/about.

Just for record, program installed not in main memory, but on flash(some programs may have trouble with this), but the rest of the function seems working fine. It able to record track.

There is nothing displayed on summary screen at all, if I press upload it seems like just ignoring this button at all.
ftp address writen like: http://www.foohost.net (I'v tried to write it like http://ftp://www.foohost.net, still same result)
It doesn't initiate connection not either use already estabilished one.
If I type this ftp address in browser from pda, I can see ftp directory listing. And there is no records of even attempts to connect in ftp-server logs.

Anything I'm missing there?

About PDA, its Mitak Mio P550, GPRS connection working via phone using bluetooth.

Those ftp addresses you wrote are invalid. It should be "ftp.foohost.net" , there is no "www" or "http" in an a ftp address. Stricly speaking the full address would be "ftp://ftp.foohost.com" , the bit at the front is optional.
Once you have the address right, try putting it into a browser as a URL - is it a really an ftp site with an ftp server running? Does it ask you for a password?
You need to sort this out before proceeding.
If it turns out you don't actually have an ftp site you can access, you can get a free one here: http://asphost4free.com/

There is no rule about naming ftp sites ) i'm too lazy to make separate alias for the same server just to make it looks right )

As I have stated before by this IP is FTP server running, if I point browser to this server from the same PDA I'm able to login to this FTP so its 100% working.

Is this a program requirment to have "ftp(dot)" prefix prior site name?

Anyway, I have tryed this suggestion too.
http://ftp://ftp.foohost.com doesn't change anything, still no any reaction, no failure or success messages on summary screen either and it ain't attempt to estabilish internet connection if its not available atm.

May be there is exist some debug mode or logs I could check?

Ok, got it to work this way:
1) set IP instead of hostname
2) removed "ftp://" prefix

still curious about why it won't work with ftp host that got name like "ftp://http://www.foohost.com"

Also it seems that "UPLOAD NOW" won't work if auto-upload checkbox not set.

Glad you got it working.

Not sure why your URL didn't work, I guess it is not resolvable from your device for some reason. Maybe a DNS issue? I'm not sure. You should be able to check by putting the same URL into the browser on your device and see if it can find it. If you have it working it doesn't really matter, but URLs should work , that is what I use on my device.

Regarding the install, the one from my web page ( http://users.bigpond.net.au/ian_pendlebury/mymad.htm ) definitely supports installation to Storage Card, you need to do an ActiveSync install. Is that where you got the install from? The freeware sites copied the binary from my site (without my permission) and have done all sorts of things with it, including extracting the CAB file from the exe and posting it on their web sites. I think CAB file installs are restricted. Anyway, if you have any problems get the latest version from my site as step 1.
