Topic: Google maps not loading

If you can see the map under Maps in Preferences then I think it loaded OK.
So, now all you need to do is get a GPS signal and if your location is within the coordinates supplied for the map, it will display it.
Have you done that, got a signal within the map?
If the map is of an area which is not your current location, try getting a GPS signal then zooming out the map (down arrow) until it appears.
Do you see the base map of the world?
That is all I can think of, if you can see that map in the preferences then there can't be much else.

Oy! So I sit in my office, 15 miles away, and the map doesn't show. I come home (to the coordinates of the map) and voila!

I have a similar problem that I ask for your Help. I had Installed the program Mymotion in my PDA Pocket PC QTEK 9090 and the created a Goolge Earth map, transferring tgz file to the MyMotion directory on my PDA using 1.2 MakeMyMap,but the map doesn't open. The reason Why, I think is that it is not a .trz or .trk file. Otherwise in tools-preferences-Maps I See only the name and coordinates of the map, but I can't see any map At all. On the command of upload the map doesn't open.

Read more.If you see maps in menu and you are within their range and gps signal is OK and you still dont see your maps,check regional settings in your computer.You must have dots set instead of commas.
Or edit tgz file,change commas in coordinates into dots,save and then copy into MyMotion folder on PPC.And voila!It must work

Yes I see the base map of the world, but I don't see the the other maps I created, the only thing I see is the track on blank background. Thank for your help too, I have changed dots instead commas, but it didn't work too. I don't know what happened wrong.On preferences maps I can see only the coordinates of the maps I created. Anny suggestions I'll appreciate very much. I can only save Trucks without the supported maps.

I don't see the file. Use the "Messages" area at the very top of the web page (next to logout & Edit your profile). Then send a message to "mymotion" and Upload File.
