Did you use v1.2 of MakeMyMap? If you attach the .tgz file, I will check it.

Check the file size. If it's only 181 bytes you only have the coordinates.
I've been trying the program a bit, although I had to use photoshop to make the squared .tga (and I got a Succes message), and MakeMyMap to get the coordinates.

By the way, if you have a "foreign" windows configuration (i'm from spain); take care of the dots and commas change. The coordinates must be with dots.

It took a few hours to have the program running.

How do you know the MakeMyMap version?

How does the program know which map should be displayed if you get 2 maps of the same zone (with different detail)?

I'm impressed you figured out how to make a .tgz file manually!
To find the version of MakeMyMap check the title bar, it should say "MakeMyMap v1.2", if it doesn't (or just says "MakeMyMap") then you have an old version.
If you have multiple overlapping maps with different levels of detail name the files in corresponding alphabetical order, for example:

01mostdetailed.tgz
02widerarea.tgz

MyMotion will show all the maps which contains your current co-ordinates and are visible, but will stack them in the alphabetical order. So if you name them correctly you will get the most detailed on top and the others underneath.
You can have up to 16 maps (today) but 4 of them are reserved, leaving 12 for the user.

Great suggestion to change commas with dots.I am from Poland and I had to do it,too.
I have done nothing with tga file and all works fine.So I wonder what you have been doing with tga using photoshop? You may have new ideas
